Area of use:

The Flexidoor strip curtain is a simple draught sealing system for use in doorways or as a partition between work areas.

Specification / construction:

The Easy Hinge curtains consists of transparent PVC strips with welded loops. The strips are suspended with the desired overlap from tubing which is attached to the lintel with brackets. The outer strips can be supplied in an orange colour to mark the passage width of the opening.

Material:

The strips are made of extruded transparent PVC and are available in the following qualities:
Normal to -5ºC
Cold resistant quality to -35ºC

Dimensions:

The strips are available in the following sizes:
200 mm wide and 2 mm thick
300 mm wide and 3 mm thick
400 mm wide and 4 mm thick

Overlapping:

Strips 200×2 mm – overlapping 50 and 100 mm
Strips 300×3 mm – overlapping 50, 100 and 150 mm
Strips 400×4 mm – overlapping 50, 100, 150 and 200 mm

The overlap percentage is largely determined by the degree of draught. The greater overlap, the better the draught sealing.

Safety:

The strips have rounded edges.

Mounting structure requirements:

Special structural provisions are not generally required. A stable material for attachment by means of screws, bolts or welding is sufficient. A curtain can if necessary be split into sections of max 30 kg to make the installation easier.
